While there are the pros and cons to this link building method, it should definitely be included into your planning. It can be risky because of the fact that you are buying your way to the top, but in order to be successful on the internet you have to be willing to take risks.

The traditional web directories list links in a predetermined manner that is still a bit unknown to many. There are several advantages to bid directories including you having the power over whether or not your website is the top listing. Although it does cost money to get up there, it may mean the difference of thousands of visitors.
