Personal/Powerful/Promising Emails

by Incredible Articles - Last Modified: 11/07/2007

Personal/Powerful/Promising Emails

Personal/Powerful/Promising - these are the 3 key points you need to know how to do to get people to read your emails. You are not going to earn a single penny in profits from your email marketing if no one reads them let alone open them You have to develop an attention-grabbing subject line before you start writing. There are three keys to wrriting subject lines to compel your recipient to click and open your email.

1. Personal. Address the recipient by name. We love to see our own names in print- nothing grabs us quicker than if it is especially for us. We are immediately drawn to it. All good autoresponder or email distribution systems will have a "personalizatio " feature that will allow you to insert your prospect's name into yur email message.

2. Powerful. The next key to writing an email that gets the reader's attention is to us "power words". Just like face to face selling use a "power word" that appeals to the senses. As we all know we do not buy based on logic. No we buy on emotion. Email marketing works the same way. Sone of the best "power words" to use in your emails are: Free,New,Fast,Results,Exclusive,Unlimited,Overnight, and so on. Power words don't only trigger our emotions they create curiosity and are compelling. Use them. Another "type" of power word is a Deadlne: 23 hours only, next 5 days, the first 10 to apply etc. Combine the vest powerword "FREE" with a deadline and you'll definitely get their attention.

3. Promising. The third key is to present the result. You must make a promise. It must tell the reader once they view it there is something waiting for them if they read your email. It must be desirable - something they don't want to miss out on. Create expectation People buy products because they want the result of the product i.e. we buy diet pills because we want to look slim. You will always get better results with a subect line that create expectation.

How do I know all this. I didn't - I was like most - didn't know what I was doing. I went to my favourite ebook superstore cbdeluxe and researched it all. You can find sites that will help you and it is worth doing it right if you are going to put so much time into it. You can apply these three keys to any form of email marketing you use. So get on to it right away it worked for me. I earned the results from my first venture using these three keys.
