Control anything from your mobile phone

by Incredible Articles - Last Modified: 11/08/2007

n a recent visit overseas, I saw a gentleman
pull his car in front of a multi-story private
garage, he then pulled out his cell phone,
pressed one key, and 10 seconds later the barrier
lifted. When he came out on foot I asked him how
it works, and he was happy to explain it to me
and handed me his phone to try it. Apparently the
gate has its' own phone number and subscribers.
If it has your number on the list, it will open
when you call it. What an ingenious idea, I
thought. No more swiped cards, take a ticket or "
where is my remote control, did I leave it in my
wife's car?". After looking everywhere to see
where I can find one on the Internet, I finally
found that they are indeed available in USA also.
The only apparent downside with this company is
they don't seem to answer public inquirires, but
rather just work through industrial resellers,
such as gate, fence, alarm companies or GSM
service providers.
