riginally from Southern California, veteran fashion and celebrity photographer Michael Gaylord has spent the last 10 years globetrotting the world working for some of the most renowned international fashion magazines. Michael Gaylord dynamic style and knack for consistently producing great photography has made him one of the most sought-after fashion photographers in the industry. Boasting an "A List" of "Who's Who" clientele, including supermodel Caroline Murphy and celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Heidi Klum, Angelina Jolie and All-Star Basketball player Lisa Leslie, Michael's high-profile images have graced the covers and editorial pages of magazines worldwide. His time spent building strong relationships with the fashion community has garnished the attention of some of the world's most trend-setting, fashion editors. Accumulating an impressive list of advertising and editorial clients such as cosmetics giants Almay and Nivea, international versions of Elle and Vogue, Cleo, Shape and industry icon American Photo, Michael Gaylord derives his inspiration for photography from an exploration into the worlds of Art and Commerce.

Having returned to Los Angeles where he now resides, Michael's preference for shooting outdoors is being gratified. Within minutes, you have the mountains, the desert, and the beach to choose from for a shoot. Recognizing the sudden rise and explosion of fitness and figure modeling, Michael is now setting his sights on the fitness industry.

In his own words, "Fitness modeling is part of a lifestyle. I have the greatest admiration for the commitment and dedication it takes these athletes to reach pinnacle points in their careers. The competitions I have attended are producing tip-top athletes. I believe that my dynamic approach to photography with style and technique will lend itself well to the fitness industry.
