Beer Steins and Plastic Cups: Help Your Recipients Celebrate

by Rick Sheldon - Click 4 Promos, Inc. - Last Modified: 10/15/2007

eer steins and related plastic cups are an excellent way to add spice to event planning. It matters not whether beer is the substance filling the actual glass. Even if you're offering sodas, milk, or filtered water to guests, a nice glass imprinted with meaning and thought speaks volumes. These types of drinking vessels are collectors' items, and with unique graphics or a cool company name or the insignia of a special event, people will be saving it as a treasured token of memorabilia. This means that your hard work and creations are valued, recycled, passed along, and discussed in times to come. They'll be stored and used in the home, taken on camping trips, brought on the boat for lake weather, and taken in the car as a to-go cup. In ten years even if it may be sold in a yard sale, the product will still be used, and your advertising will still be circulating. Consider the following scenarios related to the effectiveness of beer steins and plastic cups.

Proms are the event of the year for high school students. And, in recent times students are taking them to a whole new level. Kids these days really do know how to throw a party and they also know the special touches that add emphasis. Prom planners traditionally order customized plastic cups to imprint the date and the schools initials, and the theme of the party. And, school colors can be matched according to the shade of the glass. Attendees are so honored to be of age to attend this event, and especially if they are younger they are thrilled to even be asked. You can be sure the promotional plastic cups will cherished at this event and long after.

Likewise, fraternity and sorority parties are notorious for customizing celebratory cups and beer steins and glassware for their many festivities. No Greek function is complete without imprinted items such as these that display letters, dates, and sometimes even pictures, and of course, the humorous message or inside joke.

Those that promote Octoberfest or have at least attended it are familiar with the amount and variety of German brews that flow throughout. Here, beer steins and promotional cups also become a way to promote the festival and give back to patrons. Handing out promotional cups and then advertising in different ways gives visitors something to look forward to and something special to take home afterward. Their memories will be kept alive through the magic of customized gifts like beer steins.

Car races are a place where beverages are consumed. There's no doubt about it. While one is reluctant to stereotype or profile the typical race fan, the truth is that this is one crowd that enjoys their cold drinks while supporting their favorite driver. Vendors at such events can customize promotional drink ware for fans to save as another memory of the race.

In smaller communities and in rural areas, the annual county fair is a major event that people look forward to all summer. From lemon shake-ups, to chocolate milkshakes, from coke floats to a chilled beer, the experience of all of the beverages is really something to look forward to and celebrate at county fairs. They fuel the atmosphere and help everyone to enjoy the 4-H exhibits, animal judging, and the rides that much more.

Truthfully, with a little bit of thought, planning, and creative juice, any businesses, in general, can successfully give away promotional cups or even beer steins and make an impression on their customers.

Pubs, taverns, restaurants, and pizza places are all examples of those that can easily imprint this item and donate it to patrons. They can be given away freely or donated with the purchase of a pitcher of soda or beer. Customers like getting something for nothing, and they also enjoy having memorabilia related to their favorite places to dine and drink.

Company picnics and warmer weather corporate events are also appropriate for giving away promotional plastic cups. If you're serving lemonade, soft drinks, cold beer, or water, giving away a cup that recipients can take home afterward adds an extra touch and feeling of thoughtfulness.

Whatever you happen to be planning, if it is an event that you would like to make even more special and memorable, consider donating beer steins or plastic cups to your visitors. Make them feel special at the event, and give them something special to take home after the party. They'll remember you, the organization, and the fun that they had.
